20,000 Watt Fresnel?

Used primarily in film and video production, the Arri T 24 is the biggest light in our shop - in every way. At 134 lbs (without the barndoor!) and 20,000 watts, it is truly a beast. With a 625 mm lens diameter, in theatre parlance, you might call it a 24.6" Fresnel.

With its improved cooling system, the T 24 can actually take the new 24,000 W lamp.

To avoid high starting currents, the Arri T 24 is powerd by an external dimmer providing a built-in, slow start up - in effect pre-heating the filament and faciltating a longer lamp life.
