Greg Mitchell Completes Entertainment Technology Certification Program

Limelight Productions of Lee, Massachusetts announces that Greg Mitchell, Service Manager, has recently completed several training programs. Most recently Greg achieved certification as Factory Certified Technician for Genlyte Controls Systems from Entertainment Technology. Greg, who is certified as a Factory Authorized Field Service Representative for Electronic Theatre Controls (ETC), also recently completed a program in Repair Training for Non-Warranty Repairs from ETC.
In addition, Mr. Mitchell is a Strand Authorized Service Center Technician, the only one in New England and is an ETCP Certified Theatre Electrician.
Based in Dallas, Texas, Entertainment Technology is a leading manufacturer of dimming control products and lighting control consoles. Electronic Theatre Controls (better know worldwide as ETC) is based in Madison, Wisconsin. ETC is a manufacturer of state-of-the-art lighting fixtures and control systems for architectural and theatre applications. Strand Lighting, now part of the Genlyte Group, is one of the longest standing manufacturers of lighting fixtures and controls. The Certified Entertainment Electrician designation from the Entertainment Technician Certification Program Council (ETCP) verifies a broad-based knowledge as an entertainment electrician.
As Service Manager and Electronics Technician at Limelight, Greg performs factory authorized repairs and installation of state-of-the-art as well as older, legacy lighting and effects control systems in western Massachusetts and throughout New England. Greg, a Berkshire native who resides in Adams, is an accomplished musician and graduate of Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
